Transplant and overgrowth are pretty much ALWAYS the better gadgets and star powers. Shield gear for extra health. You always want the super-charging gear to charge super in 4 hits instead of 5 (actually huge difference).
Transplant
Sprout destroys its current Hedge, but will instantly have its Super fully charged again.
Overgrowth
Every 5 seconds, the next Seed Bomb will explode with a larger explosion radius.
Super Charge
Super charges 10% faster.
Shield
Gain extra 900 Health as a consumable Shield. The shield regenerates in 10 seconds, when at full health.
Guide
Use your super to block enemies from reaching you by placing it in key areas of the map. When enemies paths are blocked off, use your main attack to chip away their health slowly. Overgrowth is good for reaching enemies who have low health and are trying to escape. Hide behind walls to avoid being attacked by marksmen/damage dealers. Sprout’s hypercharge isn’t that good, you usually just use the hypercharge for the bonus damage + speed + shield. Good for escaping if for example an Edgar or a Mortis ambushes you, and you don’t have a super to defend yourself. You can also use it if your enemy still has some HP left and you gotta kill them quick. The biggest counter for Sprout is Mortis, but other assassins are also scary. Therefore Sprout’s teammates should be assassin counters. Assassin counters are stuff like tanks with good close ranges damage like Bull or Darryl, Gale to push the assassins away with his super/gadget, and Shelly to deal large close-ranged damage.
Game Modes
Knockout
Knockout is 100% the best gamemode for Sprout. Especially the Belle’s Rock map or other maps with many walls.
Works Well With
Gale
Scare away all of the spooky assassins with Gale’s gadget & super.
Shelly
INSANE close ranged damage to counter assassins.
Bull
Bull, and pretty much any tank is good at countering assassins with their big health and strong close-ranged attacks.
